Leave a blank line between your lines of text to separate your text sections. 
Otherwise it will look like this even though you entered the text on two separate lines.

To make a thin divider line type ---- on one line by itself. Use these sparingly so as not to make your pages look to busy, kind of like what this section is starting to look like.
