Would it be sensible to keep those as duplicates, to make it easier on us if/when they change the in-game icons?

:In my opinion, no. So far the only icon I've ever seen change was the Guardian Angel when they changed it to Guardian Scroll, so the object's name changed too. Besides that, using a single image means less wasted storage space on the server and possibly less bandwidth use by not sending different copies of the same image. The other advantage is that we use the best copy of that image on all pages, since some images are not as good as their duplicate. Thus, I think the benefits of eliminating duplicates outweighs the small and unlikely risk of an icon change. -- [[User:Sangodoc|Sangodoc]] [[User talk:Sangodoc|(talk)]] 02:56, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Duplicate Images

One point about duplicate images - there are some images used by multiple different in game items / skills.

Would it be sensible to keep those as duplicates, to make it easier on us if/when they change the in-game icons? --Vitenks (talk) 10:09, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

In my opinion, no. -- Sangodoc (talk) 02:56, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
