Boss Guides

Chronol

Also known as TT1-1 or TT60

Level Requirement: 60 (only the character opening the gate must be at least level 60, the others in squad can be any levels)


Ultimate Substance

  • Single Mode and Squad Mode w/High Boss = 1
  • Squad Mode w/Mid Boss = 0


Chintien

  • Drops: Chintien's Edge
  • Attacks: Earth, physical and magic attacks. No AoE. His attack does not change based on mode and boss settings.
  • Availability: All mode and boss settings.



Lord of Percussion

  • Drops: Broken Drums
  • Attacks: Single Mode: Physical attack, no AoE.
  • Attacks: Squad Mode: Once his HP is less than 50%, he will unleash strong physical damage AoE. Cleric is a must with blue bubble.
  • Availability: All mode and boss settings.


There are 3 more bosses in High Settings but they don't drop any TT mats for TT60 so don't waste your ultimate substance by selecting High Boss settings.

But, for Quest Wraith's Ploy you must go 1-1 high to complete it. This will be the only time you will have to use a ultimate Substance in 1-1



Dimensic

Also known as TT1-2 or TT70. Refer to TT2-1 for other TT70 mats.

Level Requirement: 68


Ultimate Substance

  • Drops: Chintien's Armor Shard

  • Drops: Soulgatherer's Tentacles
  • Attacks: Unleashes very strong long-ranged AoE when his HP is under 50%
  • Availability: Squad Mode with High Boss settings
  • Comments: Must have at least 2 clerics and a real tank. Venos be careful and watch your pet's HP, level 10 pet heal is not enough to keep pet alive. Trick is to stow pet before it dies. Dimentora

  • Drops: Broken Shard of Gold Armor
  • Attacks: Short-ranged AoE.
  • Availability: Squad Mode with High Boss settings
  • Comments: With the latest patch, the mobs patrolling his pit have been removed. When you first find this boss, he will be on a platform in the middle of the room. It is strongly recommended that your tank lure him off this podium and to the side of the room - at about 80% health, he will call forth four "DaVinci" which march around his platform (they drop nothing, and give no experience. Do not bother killing them). After 10 minutes, he will reset agro, calling out to "Twilight007" - this also summons a fifth DaVinci (appropriately named Twilight 007) in the center of the platform. Be sure to have all DDs and cleric halt or slow attack/healing until the tank has securely regained aggro. Also Venomancer shouldn't use pet while reset-time. Dimentora's AOE is channeled visibly, and easily interrupted.


Vipenalt

  • Drops: Ancient's Serpent Skin
  • Attacks: Wood damage. No AoE but will summon exploding hands.
  • Availability: Squad Mode with High Boss settings
  • Comments: While killing, Vipenalt will summon numerous Clapping Hands in the room. In order to not set them off, everyone in the room MUST remain stationary (can still attack, though, of course). An alternative way to killing this boss, to avoid the Hands, is to have the tank lure him outside onto the walkway that circles Dimentora's platform. Veno can easily tank with herc.



Substancia

Also known as TT1-3 or TT80. Refer to TT2-2 for other TT80 mats.

Level Requirement: 76

The attacks and availability are the same as TT1-2 except the bosses in 1-3 have higher HP. Same tips apply here.

Ultimate Substance

  • Single Mode and Squad Mode w/High Boss = 1
  • Squad Mode w/Mid Boss = 0


Chintien

  • Drops: Chin's Plate


Lord of Percussion

  • Drops: War Drum


Soulbanisher

  • Drops: Soulgatherer's Mirror


Shooting Aur (Same as Dimentora, just different name.

  • Drops: Tough Shard of Gold Armor or Golden Spirit (rare)


Vipenalt

  • Drops: Ancient's Serpent Blood or Ancient Serpent's Orb (rare)
