Hello, I would like to make a build guide for barbarians. Though there is an existing one, but the facts are on this page. Barbarians are the most strict in builds, more strict than any other class.
The required points for your barbarian is to have 3 strength, 0.5 dexterity and 1 vitality every level, meaning 3 STR, 1 VIT, then 3 STR, 1 DEX, 1 VIT You have literally an extra point every 2 levels. So you can either add in either STR, DEX or VIT if you like. The STR and DEX are enough to equip heavy armors and axes/hammers, and VIT is enough for tanking / perdition damage. Not the only reason why, but you can also have better effect with your skills, especially buffs. This is the normal barb build (pretty much common)
These possibilities can result in:
Simple build-very simple to build, recommended for pure tankers, and they can pack quite a punch in human form. Mostly in tiger form, it helps the most. They have best survivability. So if you like to take full potential in tanking, adding remaining points in VIT, which is 3 every level until 99 (you can choose to add what you want afterwards)
at level 99: 299 STR, 54 DEX, 152 VIT (154 if restated), 5 MAG (3 if restated) (there is lionheart set for the extra crit :) )
strength barbarian-deals more damage than normal barbarians, you will deal more damage than other barbarians. So in humanoid form, they can hit very hard. if you want most out of STR, then add 1 extra point in STR every 2 levels. at level 99: 347 STR (349 if restated), 54 DEX, 104 VIT 5 MAG (3 if restated)
axe / light armor hybrid-these type of barbarians are the quicker than normal, accuracy can make the barbarian can hit with such high accuracy, and they have 2% more crit than the normal ones. They can also use light armor for the extra elemental defense, but that can sacrifice their physical defense. Also people do recommend for barbarians to have more DEX than 60 to PVP, light armor would benefit most because you can use heavy armor for physical opponents, light armor for magical opponents / hybrid (archers). You can resist elemental attacks more than the normal barbarians. NOTE: reason why DEX should be capped at 104, is because you will get access to a lot of accuracy. Over 9,000 accuracy. thats right, 9,000... I used pw calculator, if its not true, then its over 6,000 which is still a enough to hit even them pesky evading opponents. at level 99: 299 STR, 104 DEX, 102 VIT (104 if restated), 5 MAG (3 if restated)
Hybid-its your build, feel free to mix up the build with STR, DEX or VIT. you don't need to follow exactly. like a strength barbarian sacrifices 36 STR for adding 36 DEX or whatever you choose to do, its what you want in your build, but do not go lower than the required points you need. Which is at level 99: 299 STR, 54 DEX and 102~104 VIT
