Flying

Introduction

At level 30, all races unlock the ability to fly using aerocrafts. Winged Elves start at level 1 with the ability to fly but their wings consume MP with use. At level 30, all races can use the aerocrafts to fly without any penalty. In order for you to be able to start using the aerocrafts, you must first go to the Elder of Archosaur and complete the quest he gives you. For all races, the quest tells you to go to your races’ recluse and speak with them. The Recluse will have you complete a task and after that, you are able to use your races’ aerocraft.

Acceleration

While in flight, you can use the Accelerate command to fly faster. This has a separate meter that drains with use, and can only be refilled with Chi from Chi Stones. The speed increase varies depending on the aerocraft you are using.

Note:Natural Elven Wings cannot use the acceleration feature.

Upgrading Aerocraft Speed

The speed you fly is equal to your base speed + the speed of your aerocraft in its current mode. Aerocrafts start with two speeds, a normal speed and a hasted speed. Depending on what aerocraft you have, these two speeds may be increased through the use of Boutique items or skills.

Wind Widget

• • Cost: 10 Silver

• • Effect: increase your aerocraft's speed bonus by +1. (This may be used only on aerocrafts purchased from the Boutique.)

Author's Question: Boutique description vague; requesting verification as to whether a single aerocraft may be upgraded multiple times through the use of Wind Widgets.
