Unicorn Forest

Unicorn Forest is the second map you obtain in the Chrono series. Like the first map, this map brings more grind spots, quests, a daily, and world bosses.

The mobs in this map are different compared to the mobs in the mainland map and most the mobs in the first map. All mobs are a [?] mob, which means its level is 150, if your not a venomancer it might be best you don't attempt to grind in this map as the mobs hit you for 500-1k+ physical or magic and take just as long to kill as a regular mobs. Currently, the phoenix is bugged and kills these mobs effectively in two or three hits making this a venomancer paradise.

The mobs inside this map also drop certain cards for bosses that drop Power Material. Power material can only be obtained from the card bosses of this map.

This map is also only open at certain times of the day.

Open Hours

When taking the quest in Heaven's Tear to enter Unicorn Forest you are asked to dig a Heroes' Blood which is located in the water at (362, 527). The blood is only spawned for three hours then it will disappear for three hours.

The hours the blood are spawned are:

Once inside Unicorn Forest, a quest will appear in your quest log with a 2 hour timer. Once the timer expires you will be kicked out of the map. You can also trash this quest for an easy way out.

• • Tip: Dig the blood when it is up even if you are not looking to go into Unicorn Forest at the time because as long you have the blood for the quest, you can enter at any time.

Card Bosses

Four of the sixteen spawnable card bosses are from Unicorn Forest. Different mobs inside the map drop different cards. You need 1-8 of a card before you can take the quest at the Land Elder(366, 517) in Old Heaven's Tear. If you rather not kill mobs for the cards, an alternative is to trade 2 Mystical Tome Fragments per card at the Land Elder.

Each boss is at a different location and some are harder to kill while a few are soloable by a venomancer.

• • The bosses located in FB's must be an unwined run. If you use wine the summmonobot will NOT spawn.
  • The summonobot for Gluttonfowl will only appear after completion of wave 2 in the Valley of Reciprocity.

All of these bosses will drop around 15 to 20 Power Materials which are used in crafting pants, rings, and belts.

Wraith Spirit's

Wraith Spirit's are an item that drops from a few of the mobs inside Unicorn Forest and obtained from repeatable quests.

At the blacksmith inside of Unicorn Forest, you can trade in a certain number of spirits for an item. There's two items to choose from, Forest's Wisdom(a heavy helmet) and Ence's Scar(a magic helmet). The more spirits you trade in, the better the stats of the item.
