This is a basic article message box (ambox) with a colored bar on the left (blue by default). To use this put {{Ambox_basic|color=#1e90ff|text=Your text here.}} at the top of the article or section with your own text and color in the template tag (see below for other colors). You can change the style of the text by adding a textstyle parameter (like "|textstyle=color: red; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"). Other templates with default messages can/should be made using this template.
Standard colors:
- Blue: #1e90ff
- Red: #b22222
- Orange: #f28500
- Yellow: #f4c430
- Purple: #9932cc
- Gold: #b49b50
Once they add the ParserFunctions plugin to this wiki this template should be depreciated in favor of the full Ambox code.
