Ya, I struggled to figure out how to create a New WIKI Page. It seems to everybody who already knows thinks that it is straight forward but I guess I didn't.
To start a new page like this one just type in the title name of the page that you want to create into the search field on the left side of this page. If your chosen page title has already been taken then the search will show a found link with that name.

If there is no page by your chosen title the search may still have multiple links that are as close as it could come to matching your request.

Just below the search page title, "SEARCH results" is the next line on the page similar to the one below.
You searched for New WIKI Page (all pages starting with "New WIKI Page" | all pages that link to "New WIKI Page")

This line is where the key to making your new page, it doesn't say that straight out but if you scan with your mouse cursor over the search title that you used, "New WIKI Page" in my example here, it will reveal a message that your title page is "(Not Yet Written)". This is a hyper link to your new blank page with your chosen title. Click on it and go.
Just below the search page title, "Search results" is the next line on the page similar to the one below.  If, for example, you searched on "Article Name" you'd get:<br>
As you can see by this page, "New WIKI Page" it did start out blank and now I've typed in this information and saved the page.
<div id="contentSub"><p>You searched for '''[[Article Name]]''' ([[Special:PrefixIndex/Article_Name|all pages starting with "Article Name"]] | [[Special:WhatLinksHere/Article_Name|all pages that link to "Article Name"]])</p></div>

This game, PW (Perfect World) is great fun but so many things are left for us to figure out by trial and error. I'm just glad I wasn't around when the game first came out and there was not much documentation.
If your search shows the link after "You searched for" with a red question mark, that means that the article doesn't exist.  You can then click on that link to create that page.

When you do make your page it is a good idea to use the SHOW PREVIEW button below. This will allow you to see if the page came out the way you intended before you actually save the page.

I hope to get some helpful links and some simple formatting on this page. I would like to Keep it Simple (KISS) :)

It's the simple stuff that always gets me....

As an example it will show you how to make the Title Header, a Page Line and a Time Stamp Signature in and above this section if you already haven't figured it out. Although I will include all that information on this page too.

To make matters worst, here is how to make a Header Bar.
When you want to link to someone else's wiki page just type double brackets around the page title of the page you want to your link to go to, like this: <nowiki>[[Wiki Page Link]]</nowiki> Written this way the link shows a normal text, unless you set your preferences to show links underlined (highly recommended), but can be clicked on to take you to the page named in the brackets.

When you want to link to someone else's WIKI page Just type double brackets around the page title of the page you want to your link to go to, as below. <pre>[[WIKI Page Link]]</pre> Written this way the link does not show but remains to look like normal text wherever it is on the page.

I have created a link example out of the text: [[My Friendly WIKI Page Link]]. This link however does not go to any page because that page does not exist until someone creates a page with that title. If you click on that link it will try to make a page with the title "My Friendly WIKI Page Link". PLEASE Don't make that page you'll ruin my example  :)  %)  :(  and make me very grumpy. LOL

More to come...
You can have links to other articles displayed as text other than the article name by using a "|" in the link. For example, "A link to <nowiki>[[Templates|the article on templates]]</nowiki>" is displayed as "A link to [[Templates|the article on templates]]". Clicking on the text "the article on templates" will take you to the [[Templates]] article.

If, for example, you searched on "Article Name" you'd get:

If your search shows the link after "You searched for" with a red question mark, that means that the article doesn't exist. You can then click on that link to create that page.

This game, PW (Perfect World) is great fun but so many things are left for us to figure out by trial and error. However, by creating new wiki pages you can help out your fellow Perfect World International players by providing them useful information.

When you do make your page it is a good idea to use the "Show preview" button while working on it. This will allow you to see if the page came out the way you intended before you actually save the page.

Here the first Best Link that you have probably already found: Sample Guide

Among other things it shows you how to make the title header, a page line, and a time stamp signature.

How to Examples

Leave a blank line between your lines of text to separate your text sections. Otherwise it will look like this even though you entered the text on two separate lines.

You can also use "<br>" for a linebreak.
This was actually written as one line using such a linebreak. (You can click "Edit" above to see the source for this section.)

To make a thin divider line type ---- on one line by itself. Use these sparingly so as not to make your pages look to busy, kind of like what this section is starting to look like.

To make a Header Bar just type two equal (=) signs around your Header title text like this "== Header Title ==" on a line by itself and there's your new:

Header Bar (Please Use Proper Title Capitalization)

When you want to link to someone else's wiki page just type double brackets around the page title of the page you want to your link to go to, like this: [[Wiki Page Link]] Written this way the link shows a normal text, unless you set your preferences to show links underlined (highly recommended), but can be clicked on to take you to the page named in the brackets.

You can have links to other articles displayed as text other than the article name by using a "|" in the link. For example, "A link to [[Templates|the article on templates]]" is displayed as "A link to the article on templates". Clicking on the text "the article on templates" will take you to the Templates article.

Here's another link: My Friendly Wiki Page Link. This link however does not go to any page because that page does not exist until someone creates a page with that title. If you click on that link it will try to make a page with the title "My Friendly Wiki Page Link". (Please don't make that page you'll ruin the example.)
