Rank and Reputation/RankIX

Rank IX gear was introduced on August 17, 2010 in patch 398. This gear is significantly different than other rank gear in that you need more than just the required level and reputation to obtain each piece. It is also significantly more powerful.

Requirements

This gear is available at level 101 to players with 300,000 reputation or more. To obtain this gear, you'll need to make a trip to the Commander-in-Chief (521, 626) in the South District of Archosaur. Before you are allowed to buy any of the gear you'll first have to buy the Ring of Trauma. The cost of each gear is below.

14 General Summer's Tokens

A Medal of Glory is a special reward given out once per week to the leader of the faction that holds a randomly selected TW land. They have also been sold in the boutique and are available to purchase with DQ Points.
A General Summer's Token is manufactured from General Summer with 9,999 Mysterious Chips. Mysterious Chips can be obtained from the Cube of Fate, manufactured from Perfect Tokens of Luck, and have been sold directly in the boutique.

Reputation
Reputation badges (worth 25 reputation per badge) has been sold in packs of 50 for 45 silver.

Medals of Glory
Medals of Glory have been sold in the boutique for 25 Gold each but many choose to buy these with DQ points.

General Summer's Tokens
The chips to make a General Summer's Token have been sold in the boutique as a 25-pack of 15 tokens each for 20 silver. These packs have to be opened individually.

Set Bonus

Each class gets a weapon, top, leggings, wrists, boots, belt, as well as the rank ring. All of the gear except for the ring are part of a set with the following bonuses for wearing multiple pieces of rank gear.

2 Pieces = Def. Level +10
3 Pieces = Critical Hit Rate +1%
4 Pieces = Attack Level +10
5 Pieces = Def. Level +10
6 Pieces = Attack Level +20

When all 6 pieces of Rank IX are obtained, a special aura is seen on the player.
