Mystics are a magic class that uses their arsenal of wood skills as well as a set of summoned pets and plants to attack, and their healing and defense skills to help themselves and their allies survive. Instead of taming their pets like the venomancer, the mystic has a fixed list of pets which they can summon using their skills. The mystics can also summon plants, which then stay where summoned and affect nearby targets automatically. Each of the summoned plants is used for a special purpose, from delivering damage, to AoE debuffs, to healing teammates. Even though the mystic is a good solo class thanks to their pets, they're good team players as well, due to their various healing and support skills.

Mystic Weapons
Magical Damage Chart: Lower-Low-Medium-High-Higher
Wand:
Medium-Medium damage
Magic Sword:
Medium-High damage
Pataka:
Low-Higher damage
Glaive:
Medium-Higher damage
For a mystic who focuses on their heals wands are recommended. Wands have the highest low-end magic attack and thus makes your heals stronger and more reliable.
Magic swords and glaives are a good weapon choice for those who would like to have a balance of decent heals and good damage output.
Patakas should be out of the question, unless you would like to focus on the spike damage potential more than your healing power. The gap between low-end and high-end is too big making the heals potentially weaker but also potentially gives incredibly high critical hits.
Mystic Armor
Mystics need all the magic they can get, so therefore the only advisable thing is to use Arcane Armor. HP and physical defense shards are useful for PvP, otherwise it is advised to use any and all MP shards available for PvE, as you will be using alot of Mana. Useful extra stats are: magic, -channel, physical defense, vitality, and HP.
Ornaments should be magic rings and physical defense ornaments (with HP/PDef/Mag/-Channel bonuses).
Mystic in PvP
Mystics in PvP are capable of killing their enemies within seconds, but it is also known that Mystics have low physical defenses, so it is advised to use shards that give HP and/or physical defense accordingly. Their knockback skill can knock back players unlike other classes' knockback skills. Although not much use against archers, being able to knockback melee attackers is still good. Mystics single best PvP skill is probably Cragglord, due to it's immense damage. Cragglord can take almost any class out within a few hits, which also helps since even the sage version only lasts 23 seconds.
Mystic in PvE
Mystics in PvE are capable of not only soloing heals within squads, but are also capable of dealing immense damage through use of plants, pets, and their own skills. Along with Heals and "DD", Mystics are able to solo tank weaker mobs within dungeons and instances through use of their Devil Chihyu summon, and their plants.
Mystic in Territory War
Mystic's can provide a multitude of roles that support a wide variety of squad set ups. "Jack of all trades" in this particular case is a good thing.
Resurrection- This buff is great for cata squads, especially the demon version. Coming back without a charm tick in TW's is crucial when a barb goes down and is unbuffed upon resing. Cata clerics also shouldnt mind this too much.
Devil Chihyu- Nice back up stuns when you tab though high priority targets. Unless they have popped their anti stun this usually traps a good number of people unaware. Great for surprise stunning clerics in the air. Energy Leeching this summon will give you of course crit and p-def bonuses, which shouldn't be ignored.
Storm Mistress- AOE Silence from making it Sage/Demon version, and a nice Metal damage AOE makes her another great choice to have out as well. Leeching grants magic defense and magic attack so comboing it with rapid growth can produce some attacking power.
Salvation-Her shields can save yourself and other people. Leeching her isn't exactly necessary as she acts better as a secondary medic around for catas. Put into a cata team she can AOE shield everyone near by (on ground cata units.)
Bramble Tornado-The only class sporting knockback that works on players, it is indispensable for pushing out incoming catas back a few annoying meters as well as incoming BM's and Seekers. While Demon Tornado adds an extra knockback meter,Sage shouldn't be ignored just because it doesnt have that extra meter (Sage Bramble has a chance to cast without consuming chi. Great for saving up for other chi reliant and high damaging skills such as Thicket) Take care while doing it to ranged classes-while it can interrupt channeling you dont want to fall out of range of your max and into easy range of their attacks.
Gale Force- You may or may not be using this skill often, but another seal that has an AOE is nice for control purposes. Also, it makes those pesky veno pets run away form you, giving enough time to dodge a fatal nix bleed.
Thicket-One of the Mystic's best two spark weapons aside from Crag, what's not to like about a seal, freeze, and additionally HF (from demon) or increased overall damage output (sage).
Depending on what you're going to be asked to do, always keep a few things in mind when TWing as a mystic in any given squad-
-If you can always be MP charmed. If youre caught in the middle of skill spamming and forget to pop MP pots youre going to be in a bit of trouble. Sice Mystics can troll with knockback, have their res buffs and have have an anti stun skill (Energy Leech), you'll always need to think on your feet.
-Have your Pet set to defend.(Unless it's Salvation) Regradless of whether its Devil or Storm you main most often, make sure it's set to defend. That way when you're handing someone else and a sin or some other class decides to gank you, your pet will go scurrying after them.
-Resurrect buff Cata Barbs and Clerics when they 1) Die 2) Get Purged or 3) Buff Wears Off. As with most mystic skills it's MP heavy and a level 10, Sage or Demon res buff will charm tick you. If you have the time and MP to burn and if you feel like it, you can also res buff your strongest DD's (such as your R9 or you Nirvana armored team mates)
