(So far i'm at level 38, and no major problems to date.)

With my experience so far, i found that using a similar build as a Venomacer works quite well. Especially if you are like me and prefer a bit of padding when it comes to your HP (even if it means meditating a bit more)

Every two levels:
7 Mag 2 Vit 1 St

If you are someone who is more comfortable with less HP, I recommend you take 1 Vit point and move it to Mag. Because summons require so much Mana, this will give you a helpful advantage. However I don't recommend it for less experienced players because Mystics are still pretty squishy and even with Vit the same as their level: a few good hits and they're out.
