information from the forums indicates that aggro is calculated before damage reduction from defense/resistance and damage amplification/reduction from debuffs/buffs (I've also seen this myself, my pet keeps aggro just as well on increased defense mobs as it does on increased magic resistance mobs). There wasn't any information on whether the damage reduction from level difference has an effect (pets aren't effected by this)- Chacradragon 17:27, 25 July 2011 (PDT)
