Blademaster Build

Blademasters can use four different types of weapons, so stat distribution is quite complicated compared to other classes. Light armor is not recommended because blademasters will usually be attacked with melee, and heavy armor is more effective. The required stat distribution for each weapon is followed:

Attribute Distribution (Per Level)
Type Strength Dexterity
Blade and Sword 2 1½
Polearm 2½ 1
Axe and Hammer 3 ½
Fist Weapon 1½ 2

KEY: ½ = One point every two levels

Alright, many know me as SoloV on the Raging Tide server. What you see above I took off the Blademaster Common Stat Builds page. I see this correctly worked out mathematically. Many bonus attributes are given through gear, the one thing I believe hard in building a character for is survival. Most Blademasters, want that 5.00 APS with a weapon +10 refine. Of course you do, I did too which is why I did this. Now, a few major things to be pointed out. The above chart is not accurate as you want to make up for your Dexterity with gear bonus and keep it as low as possible. As strength is just for requisites with arcanes, Dexterity is though of in the same manor with the Heavy Armor classes. You also get more out of added Vitality to your build and use Diamond of Tiger for attack levels, than you do being pure strength and having 10 Vitality stones in your gears. I built mine for survival, I highly recommend this. So here is a chart for the build for that:

Attribute Points at Lvl. 100 (with bonuses)
Type Strength Dexterity
Blade and Sword 203 153
Polearm 253 103
Axe and Hammer 305 55
Fist Weapon 153 203

Universal Build for PvE (Lvl. 101 with bonuses)
Type Strength Dexterity Vitality Weapon(s)
Nirvana 252 203 55+ Nirvana Axe (Req. 302 Strength, 54 Dexterity) & Regicide/Windpour (Req. 153 Strength, 203 Dexterity)
Rank VIII 250 203 17+ R8 Axe (Req. 300 Strength, 50 Dexterity) & Regicide/Windpour (Req. 153 Strength, 203 Dexterity)
Rank IX 255 203 12+ R9 Axe (Req. 305 Strength, 55 Dexterity) & Regicide/Windpour (Req. 153 Strength, 203 Dexterity)

I recommend having just enough Strength and Dexterity to use your weapon, and pouring all extra attribute points into Vitality for survival. Many people become obsessed with the pure-Strength blademaster, and logically what is the good in a dead blademaster that is always needing the cleric to resurrect them?
